HotelLinks.ug allows you to book now and pay later for Hotels and Car rentals across Uganda

According to Visit Uganda stats, the country recorded a total of 1.7 million arrivals and 1.6 million departures in 2013. The Tourism service sector is also growing steadily but unfortunately a little bit slower than the international tourism service sector. We have global players like Tripadvisor and Jovago who have more listings of Ugandan Hotels you can book in Uganda than many local players.

Up until now, we didn’t have a Ugandan website from which you could book a hotel, rent a car from within the same platform. Of course many websites (Like Guide to Uganda, Pear Guide among many others)  listed various service providers and their contact information and then the user would email the service provider personally.

HotelLinks.ug has now introduced a platform where you can easily find hotels across the country and book them instantly online and pay later. One can also book different types of cars to suit their needs while in the country. Similar to Rocket Internet’s Jovago and Hotels.ng, the easy to use non cluttered website delivers a smooth experience both on desktop and mobile offering 24/7 customer support. They offer the best rates and local specials across the country, no booking fees and hand picked cars to help you travel smoothly across the country.

Hotellinks.ug still has a few listings in comparison to Jovago which has currently extended operations to Kenya listing over 1000 hotels. Of those listed, 200 are Ugandan hotels which are as of now more than those listed on HotelLinks.ug. My concern at the moment is that the Rocket backed Jovago will annihilate hotellinks.ug and any other if the former arent as aggressive.  For now we are excited about the site.
