Google’s digital assistant is growing up so fast, learning new tricks everyday. Google is bringing yet another big feature to the voice assistant. The Google Assistant on both iOS and Android will be able to bring you daily reminders on things such as weather updates, funny videos, quotes, poems and so much more.
This feature has been available on Google’s Instant Messaging app, Allo since its launch last year. With it, you can ask the Assistant to send you a poem, or your weather, a fun fact or any other thing everyday at the same time.
How to Setup Subscriptions on Google Assistant
To set up any of these, all you need to do is launch your Google Assistant by long pressing your home button and saying any of these commands.

- Send me a poem everyday
- Send me a quote everyday
- Send me a funny video everyday
- Send me a fun fact everyday
- Send me a mindfulness tip everyday
This is one of the more useful features that we see trickling down to more of Google’s platforms. We can only hope that with time this feature will grow to support more functions. For instance it would be nice to get you daily news feed
