Not so long ago, we told you of a partnership between MTN Uganda and Kwese to offer customers an extraordinary entertainment experience with unlimited access to content including live coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Competition is not yet dead! Africell is partnering with StarTimes Television to do something similar.

StarTimes viewers can enjoy the world cup action from anywhere and everywhere they are to ensure easy accessibility, with Africell’s discounted data packages dedicated to the App users with validity of up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Streaming using the bundles

The StarTimes Mobile app is available to both Playstore for android users and AppStore for iPhone users. The process of livestreaming will be as follows;

  • Download the Star times mobile app from Playstore or Appstore accordingly
  • Identify which channel preference you want to tune in to.
  • Dial *133# Option 10 and select your bundle
  • Enjoy the Livestream

Since Ugandans have more internet enabled smartphones and Digital TVs, it means all Ugandans will have an opportunity stream their favorite teams tussle it out with one another.
