Easyticket.co.ug wants to simplify ticketing In Uganda

In Uganda, the entertainment sector is probably one of the fastest growing in Uganda. You can be sure of an event somewhere each and every day of the week. From huge concerts of major musicians both national and international, to small bands that play almost each day of the week at different locations in town, the Ugandan entertainment calendar is packed with events almost every day. Even with such a booming events calendar, we had never seen ticketing solutions provider seizing the opportunity until Etikiti came around doing Juliana’s concert (a Ugandan musical songbird and Diva) earlier this year. The latest entrant is Easy Ticket.

EasyTicket is an online ticketing solutions provider and also events promoter. The next time you want to attend that “Must Attend” event and you want to avoid the inconvenience of lining up and probably missing tickets to your favorite show or game, think about Easy Ticket. They claim to offer event organisers a safe and secure pre-sale ticketing with an ability to track sales and more. This is a big deal where people are known for faking event tickets.

How Does it Work

You Log on to www.easyticket.co.ug, register and sign up, and then start buying tickets which are sent to your email electronically which you then present at the event check in. I have not personally bought tickets as my attempts to sign up were frustrated but there are testimonies of satisfied customers that were happy with service plus its customer care.

You can buy tickets with MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money which are mobile payment options and Mastercard/VISA enabled cards.

Easy Ticket isn’t the first ticketing service in Uganda. We have previously seen Etikiti which seems defunct as we speak. We also have the Pearl Guide App which included E-ticketing in the app’s latest update enabling users to buy tickets to events like the popular  “Blankets and Wine”.
