UCE 2022 Results: How to Check your O’Level Results Online in Uganda?

The announcement of the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results is a moment of great anticipation for many students and their families in Uganda. These results hold immense importance as they determine the eligibility of students to move on to higher education, including High School Certificate (HSC) or Advanced Level (A-Level) studies.

The UCE results serve as a gateway to further education and shape the future careers of students. The Ministry of Education and Sports is set to unveil the UCE results today, Feb. 9, 2023, marking a significant turning point for students as they embark on the next stage of their academic journey.

The latest statistics from the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) show that this year, a total of 349,459 students registered for the examination, an increase of 16,063 from the 333,396 who registered in 2020. This indicates a positive trend in the level of interest and participation in the UCE examination and the importance placed on its results.”

For students and their families, the UCE results serve as a testament to their academic accomplishments and play a critical role in shaping their future education and employment prospects. Here is how you can check your kid’s results in Uganda.

How to Check Your UCE 2022 Results

There are two ways to access your results. The first method involves sending an SMS to the designated shortcode 6600, however, a small fee is associated with this option. The second option involves checking your results through the UNEB online portal, although this method may not be reliable as the site has not been updated since 2018.

It is important to keep in mind that the online portal may not be dependable, so we recommend checking the results via SMS as an alternative. For pupils who may have lost or forgotten their index number, we recommend contacting your school for assistance.
