How to Check your KCPE 2023 Results
- Send an SMS to 40054 with your index number. For example, if your index number is 12345678910, type 12345678910 and send it to 40054.
- You will receive a reply with your results within a few seconds. This service works on all mobile networks in Kenya and costs Ksh. 25 per SMS.
The other option involves accessing the results from the KNEC website
- Option B: Visit the KNEC website at https://www.knec.ac.ke and click on the link for KCPE results. Enter your index number and click on submit. You will see your results on the screen.
- You can also download or print them for future reference.
This year’s national exams have been one of the most eventful we’ve seen in recent years. From cases of irregularities, leakages, and even prosecution of persons purporting to share the examination papers beforehand, teachers getting caught up in the mess, and more.

Nov 23, 2023, 14:00: Many candidates and parents are frustrated as they haven’t received their results despite sending the index numbers to the provided shortcode. KNEC officials have said their IT personnel are working hard to resolve the “technical issue”
