  1. There is no substitute for hard work. Each minute you spend writing code will be rewarded someday. There is never a short cut to success, unless you are a son of a billionaire.
  2. School is good, but it only gives  you the basics. If you want knowledge, the real knowledge, you have to discover it  by yourself.
  3. Treat everyone equally. Respect every person the way you would want to be respected. Never look down on someone because some day, they might the one to save you in your time of need.
  4. Everything you do, let it be out of passion.  If you love what you are doing, money will always be at your door.
  5. You can be anything you want to be in life, go anywhere you want and do what you desire. All it takes is choice and desire.
  6. If someone believes in you, and trust you. Whatever you do, wherever you go, never make them regret ever trusting  you.
  7. Never demand respect, earn it.
  8. You were born poor, unfortunate, so?? What matters is not how you’ve lived, but the life you want to live.
  9. In the real world, what matters are not the grades, but only one thing, “Can you do the really work”

‘If I was to write all the lessons i learnt from Billy , I would write a full book’ said a sobering Aggrey.

All we have to do is to celebrate his life, encourage friends and family and carry on the mantle to emulate him.
