Laptop

Laptops can be used in various places, and the university is definitely one of those places. You can use it for note-taking, editing and formatting your course work, and it can facilitate group work. Also, a laptop can be used for entertainment purposes to watch movies and stream TV shows. Depending on what you need the laptop for, you will need one with a good processor, good RAM, and good ROM. You will also need a great waterproof backpack to carry your laptop around.

External Storage

Imagine you want to print your course work but do not need t carry your laptop around. This is where a flash disk or external hard drive comes into play. These can also be used for offline back up of your files. Make sure you get one with good storage capacity and ask friends for what they would recommend based on their experience.

Battery Bank

At campus, there exist opportunities to go out. Maybe for someone’s birthday party or just an outing with friends. You will need a power bank to offer you back up just in case your phone battery runs low. Also, it is advisable to carry a battery bank as you go for class presentations most especially if the work is on your phone.

This is a no brainer. Why wouldn’t you own a smartphone? I mean it can be used for very many things. Keeping in touch with friends, talking with your lecturers, reading, and very many more. There are very many smartphones on the market. Be sure to select one that is pocket-friendly, with good RAM and great ROM.

Smartwatch

A smartwatch is a portable device that’s designed to be worn on a wrist. Smartwatches use touchscreens, offer apps, and often record your heart rate, monitor your fitness and other vital signs. Can be a great addition to your gadget list at the university.

With all the devices listed, you will need to recharge them depending on their battery life. Normally, an extension is just needed to charge many at a go.
