Online shopping website Jumia Uganda now has a section where you can order books online in Uganda. The new shopping section joins apparel, health, home appliances and home electronics as some of the categories you can browse on the website.
Found on url www.jumia.ug/books/ Jumia has several book titles from across the board. From academic journals, research, to management, self-help books, ranging from the price of Ugx 10,000 to as much as Ugx 120,000.
The retailer is currently sourcing books from Book Point. It seems the big offline bookstores such as Aristoc which recently launched a store at Acacia mall, La Fountain, Vine probably haven’t yet joined the e-commerce bandwagon.
