Finally! You can now pay your water bills using PayWay

After multiple years of numerous complaints, PayWay finally listened to its customers when it added Water bill payment to its platform. Customers can now pay water bills at any PayWay terminal or Kiosk. They made the announcement on Facebook to the excitement of many.

Payway has become a platform of choice for many to pay bills. The easy to use bill payment platform now has quite a large agent network and vendor Kiosks that can be found in all major malls and supermarkets around the country.

PayWay has been on a roll recently adding multiple payment services to it’s platform. As of today, they have added support for URA Tax payments, KCCA, Google Play, Amazon and Skype credit. They currently support bill payments for major services like UMEME, Pay TV (DStv, GOtv, Startimes, Zuku, Azam TV, Simba TV and many others). They also support airtime purchase and data/internet renewal for most Telecoms and ISPs. We’ve also seen ticketing services with PayWay enabling customers buy tickets to select events.

Payway also has an online Kiosk that enables customers using VISA and Mastercard to pay bills. This is especially convenient for those in the diaspora to pay bills for their loved ones back at home or the few who have and actively use VISA cards here.

As PayWay continues to flourish, we see competition coming up aggressively. We now have Ezeemoney, NewPay, UG-Mart and Pebuu having recently launched. We can’t wait to see how Fintech companies and startups will shape commerce in the future.
