The app has a download feature added to it that allows TV shows and movies to be downloaded and watched later while offline. ShowMax primarily offers video streaming services, which require a stable internet connection. So, with the download option, you will be able to store content by downloading using WiFi hot spots or other out-of-home connectivity options and then watch at a later point.

Once you have successfully installed the app, open it and choose the show or movie you want to watch offline. Click on the download button, right next to the Play Now button; this should give you a menu with download quality options to choose from such as Low Quality, Standard Quality, Good Quality and High Quality, depending on data capability or space on your device.

You can store up to 25 TV shows and movies in total at the same time, depending on how much storage space your device can accommodate. The content is visible for 30 days and once viewing of a particular show or movie has started, it is available for completion over the next 48 hours. The same content can be downloaded again if needed.
