Video calls on WhatsApp are about to get a whole lot better. You will soon be able to make video calls to multiple people on your WhatsApp at the same time. Also announced at the event is that WhatsApp will soon support stickers. This feature has been available on competing platforms for a long long time. Viber had this since it launched and Telegram has had it for years. It is nice to see WhatsApp finally join the party. Much like its competitors, it will also let allow third parties to develop their own collections of stickers.

WhatsApp is also pushing their Business products. We recently saw the launch of WhatsApp for Business, a product aimed at businesses and enterprises that offers a more streamlined way for them to communicate with their customers. While this app currently remains free, the company might begin to charge large corporate and brands. This would help them reach more customers and make money while at it.
