Online privacy directly correlates with your actual privacy and needs to be taken seriously. One big defense mechanism for online privacy is a strong password. Unfortunately, people get too lazy at times and just create very weak passwords.

SplashData, a company which makes the password manager SplashID has over the years been releasing an annual list of worst passwords of the year. This list is come up with after evaluating more than five million passwords leaked on the internet.

This year’s list is very similar to last year’s which means that users continue using the same old predictable and easily guessable passwords.
