Although passport applications are made online through the e-citizen portal, applicants visit passport processing centres to have their biometrics taken.

Last month, the government extended the deadline to travel on the new e-passport to March 1 next year for all Kenyans.

  • Students on scholarship that need to travel urgently
  • Public servants who need to travel urgently
  • Business people who need to travel urgently for business.
