Design and Display

The Infinix Hot 8 has a polycarbonate body with a gradient finish. It has dimensions of 165 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm and a weight of 179 grams. Above the screen is a small waterdrop notch that has the front camera. The volume rocker and power keys are situated on the right-hand side.

The micro-USB port, speaker, and a 3.5mm headphone port are placed at the bottom edge. The SIM card tray is on the left-hand side. It also has a large 6.52-inch display with HD resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It uses an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors.

On the other hand, the Infinix Hot 7 comes in the dimensions 157 x 75.7 x 8 mm and weighs 166 grams. It sports a 6.2-inch full view panel with HD resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 to house the notch. It uses an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors. At the back, the dual cameras and dual-LED flash are aligned in a vertical orientation.

Camera

The Hot 8 has a triple camera set-up at the back which is vertically-aligned and comprises of a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a low-light shooter. The back cameras are supported by a Quad-LED flash set-up. It has an 8MP single selfie camera with an LED flash and shoots videos in 1080p@30fps.
