Covid19: MTN Uganda enables free access to select educational websites

MTN Uganda is tripping over itself trying to show some love to Ugandan parents in this time of Corona. Starting with waiving transactional fees from MTN to MTN Momo subscribers, MTN is doing more in the fight against the spread of Coronavirus Covid19.

The telco has zero-rated a bunch of educational websites to help parents homeschool their children. These educational websites are targeting pre-primary and primary school kids based on the content.

From our perusal, the content is mostly fun educational games, stories and videos which will keep your children entertained and occupied. Kudos to MTN Uganda for lending a hand. We know how much of a handful hyperactive children can be especially when cooped up at home.

The following zero-rated educational websites can be accessed even without an active internet connection over the MTN network:

For more advanced education and especially keeping in line with the Ugandan curriculum, look no further than our list of useful Ugandan e-learning platforms. This list contains examinable content from primary, all the way to secondary school and university too. As an aside, Airtel Uganda zero-rated ExamUganda, a platform with mock science-based exams.
