Uganda Solar Eclipse: Stunning shots we found irresistible

Yesterday Sunday, the 3rd of November 2013, a historical astronomical event happened — a hybrid solar eclipse — that attracted thousands of tourists, astronomers and politicians to Pakwach in Nebbi district West Nile which was  identified as the best place to spot the total phase of the epic solar eclipse.

Thanks to proliferation of smartphones and social media, we remotely followed the eclipse from excited “citizen astronomers” who managed to travel upcountry to view the eclipse.

Here are some the most beautiful shots we curated.
