As you may already know, Google is working on its Android 11 operating system with the Beta already out for testing. The new software places much emphasis on communication and privacy. As an Android user, you should expect a revamped notification system, a new power menu, among others. But which Android smartphones will be getting the Android 11 update?

Visit google.com/android/beta to sign-up for the Android Beta Program if your phone is supported and you are interested in checking the new software out. When and if you’ll get Android 11 on your smartphone depends entirely on the manufacturer of the phone. Normally, flagship phones, a few mid-range devices, and Android One phones are the ones that get the operating system updates.

We definitely can’t wait for the Android 11; it is slated for official release later this year (2020). Given COVID-19-related concerns, Google postponed the Android 11 unveiling at a developer event and simply released a public beta. If your phone appears above, sit tight and wait for your phone manufacturer to roll out the update once it has been released.
