While the world is gone wild with the oneplus one $299 high-end smartphone that’s set to be released in a few hours, we couldn’t help notice Tecno’s latest smartphone — the Tecno R7.
The Tecno R7 is zipped with 1.5 GHz 6-Core Processor that almost caused our eyeballs to pop-out at a remarkably low price of just 235 USD! To accompany the 6 cores is 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB ROM that’s bound to deliver the best gaming experience on a mobile device. A 5 MP BSI front camera will let you take great selfies while 13MP BSI Back Camera gets you nice shots that you can enjoy on a 5.5” Gorilla Glass HD Touchscreen all on Android 4.2, Jelly Bean.
It’s interesting to see the emergence of budget high-end devices like the Oneplus and the Tecno R7 that are set to compete with flagship devices like the Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, LG G2, iPhone 5 by the big global players.
The device is not yet available in East Africa, but is available in west African countries like Nigeria. We’ll keep you posted on these developments.
