Lost your Android phone? Keep calm and use your friend’s to find it

Android Device Manager App from Google helps you locate your Android device and keep the data inside it safe and secure with your Google account. The App can find your device, reset the lock screen PIN, ring it and remotely erase data on it should you fail to locate it.

Until now, you had to Sign in to your Google Account on android.com/devicemanager and the remotely control your device. However, thanks to the recent update to the device manager, you will be able to log into someone’s Android Device Manager app, with your account, and track your device. This is more convenient than say carrying a laptop around town to track your device. Remember, you need to have enabled the device manager. To do that if you’ve not, simply go to “Google settings” on your device and then touch “Android Device Manager” then be sure to check “Remotely locate this device” and “Allow remote lock and factory reset”. For more detailed how to, please read this Google support page.

So before it’s too late, go ahead and update your Android device manager app here.
