How to Customize Your Linkedin URL
Ready to customize your LinkedIn URL, here’s how to get started;
- Log in to your LinkedIn account, tap on your profile and then view profile
- Click on “Edit public profile and URL” located on the right part of your screen. This will open a new tab with your public profile settings
- Next, tap on the pencil icon under the edit your custom URL section
- Enter your preferred URL and then click on save.
Do note that your custom URL must contain 3-100 letters or numbers. So you cannot use spaces, symbols, or special characters in your link. You can also only change your profile URL five times in six months. If you’ve made a change up to five times, you’d have to wait for another six months before you can change it again.
Since it’s possible for another LinkedIn user to have used your intended URL, it might be unavailable. However, if they decide to change their URL from that, it’ll become available after six months of the change.
