  1. Hey Dignited,
Thank you for this article, but I see nothing new here! Its just a change of names/ themes of the awards, the organizers, but all the competitors are the same. As a compliment to our innovation sphere, I would have loved to see more new teams on the turf like Addmaya, Proggie Ug, Matibabu, Tambula, and more of the like. I believe such activities would earn a lot of attention if they brought out those emerging cubs in the market that are yet to challenge the existing lions. Alternatively, organize something new like best social, medical, arts and culture entrepreneurs using ICT to make their businesses smarter and more competitive reaching thousands of people that are not in this tech bubble.
Otherwise, this is just another one of those awards….we hear about!

    • Thanks for your comment Brian,
My editor and I were having the same argument on especially what new thing DIAA bring to the table or how what they are doing is going to contribute to the development of the Eco system. As much as I agree that they are doing a lot of what has been done, I loved the fact that they added a research component to the Awards. I also agree that there are people that could have been here that are not but I am looking forward to the event so I can make a more concrete judgement.

  2. I agree with Brian the awards are dominated by the same brands and agencies; there is no Big Picture here – We shall see the same brands for SMA’s [Social Media Awards]
