Are you too busy to find time to see a doctor? Or maybe you are in a location that makes it difficult to make medical consultations? The Medical Concierge Group (TMCG) Uganda came to sort that out. What used to be called “Whatsapp Doctor” has now been fully transformed and rebranded into Rocket Health.
With Rocket Health, you can request lab tests, buy medicine, and even make consultations with a doctor from the comfort of your home. Here, we shall take you through how this works.
What is Rocket Health?
Rocket Health is a service of The Medical Concierge Group, a licensed and registered clinic, laboratory and pharmacy. You are able to get all the standard services offered by a clinic but this time you can order online. Talk of vaccination, sexual reproductive health services, and doctor consultations — all of that.
Getting Started with Rocket Health
- Visit the Rocket Health official website.
- Create a new account. You will be required to enter your email address and choose a password. If you already have an account, proceed to login.
- On logging in, you will be directed to your Dashboard. Here’s where you will see a summary of your activity with Rocket Health. Your recent orders and subscription, among others.

How to Order Medicine
- From the Menu, go to ‘Pharmacy’. Here you will select the category you would like to go to.
- Under the various categories will be a list of the medicines offered under it. Do you need vaccines or antibiotics or anything? Search for it in the list that appears and click on it.
- You can as well hit the search bar and type in the name of the medicine you would like to buy.
- Select the medical item and specify the quantity you need then click on Add to Cart.
- At the top right-hand corner of the website, you will see the cart icon. Tap on it to complete your order.
- Click check out and you will be presented a summary of your order plus the cost of shipping fees.
- Enter delivery details such as address and phone number. You will also be asked to fill in the payment methods that can be cash on delivery, use of VISA, MasterCard, or Mobile money. If you have a discount coupon, this is the place where you add it too.
- Once everything has been filled, click Place order.
Delivery of orders made before 7 PM will be made on the same day of placing an order in areas in and around Kampala. Orders made after 7 PM will be delivered the next day. For areas outside Kampala, further arrangements will be made with the team at Rocket Health to have the order delivered to you.
How to Order Lab Tests
- On the Menu, click on Laboratory. Here you will be asked to specify whether you need an individual test or a wellness package. The wellness packages include; Back-to-School package, Travelers package, Pre-employment check, STI screening check, among others.
- Select the kind of blood test you need and click Add to Cart.
- Go to the cart and click check out. Here you will see a summary of your order plus any other additional costs.
- Enter details about where the lab technicians will find you plus your contact. You will also be asked to fill in the payment methods. That could be cash on delivery, use of VISA, MasterCard, or Mobile money. If you have a discount coupon, this is the place where you add it too.
- Once everything has been filled, click Place order.
- You will then be contacted by a team from Rocket Health who will come and take your samples. The results from the samples will be sent to you.
Consultation
If you would like to talk to a doctor about your health, click on Consultation on the Menu and proceed to place the order. A medical personnel will then get in touch with you and you can then talk to him/her about your health issue. You will be guided on what to do thereafter.
Rocket Health has health plans that you can subscribe to and this will guarantee you tailored services for a whole year. You will just pay one fee at the start to activate the plan. The plans include:
