Tecno Spark 6 Air with 6000mAh: Price and Specs

Tecno Spark 6 Air

Do you miss the longevity of feature phones but not the basic tech? The new Tecno Spark 6 Air continues the buff battery trend peculiar to its predecessors. While the Tecno Spark 5 Air had 5, 000mAh, the new addition to the series takes it up a notch to an humongous 6, 000mAH. You see, the ‘Spark’ series is an entry level line of smartphones which offers a decent Android experience under the ‘Go’ umbrella.

The new smartphone pretty much has the budget features of the smartphones with the Spark family name. In light of this, don’t expect anything special here as is the same for other cheap smartphones. Here is a glance at the specs packed on this device:

Tecno Spark 6 Air Key Features

Based off looks, the Spark 6 Air does not deviate from the Spark 5 Air with more or less the same chassis. You have the gradient design on it available in blue, black and grey colours branded as Ocean Blue, Comet Black and Cloud White.

Big screen is still a thing, so you have a 7-inch dot display fitted on the front of the smartphone with a resolution of 1640 x 720 pixels. For a 2020 smartphone, the Tecno Spark 6 Air’s screen does not leave much room for bezels.

To capture moments, Tecno installs an 8MP AI selfie camera with a combination of a 13MP main camera with f1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth coupled with a third AI lens at the back. This will provide just about the image quality from the Spark 5 Air.

All of these run on a Quad-core predecessor with a max output of 1.8GHz pushing the wheels with the Android Q Go Edition on Tecno’s native HiOS 6.2 skin. To cap it off, there is a big 6,000mAh battery making sure your smartphone stays on.

The smartphone is priced around $120 which is a fair price to pay for a low budget smartphone. At the current exchange rate, that pegged the price at about NGN 55,000 in Nigeria, 446,000 UGX in Uganda, and 13,000 KES in Kenya.
