In 2020, vivo launched a couple of cool budget-friendly smartphones into the Nigeria smartphone market. That momentum doesn’t look like it is dropping this year as the company has just introduced the new vivo y51, the successor to the vivo y50 it released in 2020. This device is the latest addition to the Y-series family.
The vivo y51 comes with upgrades in major departments: rear camera, operating system, storage capacity, and so on.

The vivo y51 maintains a similar specification as its predecessor in certain areas. It comes with a 6.58 inches FHD+ Halo FullView screen with a 1080 x 2408 pixels wide display, which is just slightly wider than its predecessor.
This smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery, a Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 chipset, a massive 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage space built-in (Expandable to 1TB). The smartphone runs on the latest Android 11.
In addition, there is an array of improved cameras (48 Mega-Pixel) on the rear of the smartphone and a single 16 Mega-Pixel tear-drop camera up front.

The vivo y51 is available for purchase in authorized retail stores nationwide.
