What is a Wedding Registry?

A wedding registry is an online service most eCommerce stores offer that allows a couple to add the items they’d want from the store to a list. They can then share these preferred wedding gifts with their guests to choose from.

Why Should You Create a Registry for Your Wedding on Amazon?

In addition to getting the wedding gifts you’d actually need, here are a few reasons why you need to use Amazon for your wedding registry;

  • It’s easy to set up –  you don’t need to build a website or pay hosting fees. All you need to do is follow the easy steps we’ll be showing you later on in this article
  • You get free and fast shipping if you have an Amazon Prime account – which means your gifts might even start showing up before the wedding.
  • You can return a wedding gift: If the colour isn’t right or if it doesn’t fit your home aesthetic, like every other Amazon purchase, you can return it within 180 days.
  • If your guests make purchases from some brands, you might just get an extra gift
  • Your guests can pitch in together to purchase one gift with the group gifting
  • You don’t have to worry about the logistics – Amazon will deliver directly to your home
  • There’s a list of everyone who purchased an item for you. So after the wedding, you can send them a thank you card.
