OPPO has unveiled the OPPO A78 smartphone in Nigeria – the latest iteration of the OPPO ‘A‘ series. Its predecessor, the OPPO A77, was released a year ago with impressive features including a premium design, 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, Ultra-linear stereo speakers, and lots more.

Design and Display
The design of this device is different from the Fiberglass-Leather Design we saw on its predecessor a year ago. This time around, what you get is a shimmering diamond texture design that features a smart glossy strip that highlights the dual camera module. At 7.93mm, this device is one of the slimmest you will find on the market. For display, what you get is a 6.43-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen, with a 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and a 90Hz max refresh rate.
The display of the device also houses the newly upgraded In-Display Fingerprint Unlock which makes the display design feel really sleek.
This smartphone comes with a 67W SUPERVOOC ultra-fast flash charging that OPPO says can take you to 43% in just 15 minutes and 100% in just 45.5 minutes. So, whether you’ve got to get to work quickly, or leave to meet your friends, this device can be powered up in little time. There’s also a 500mAh battery to back it up.

The OPPO A78 is now available for purchase at all OPPO-authorized retail stores nationwide. This device will start selling for a recommended retail price of N193,000.
