These are the banks on Interswitch Uganda’s bank network

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could simply walk to any ATM machine in town and withdraw your money irrespective of the bank you belong. That’s preciously what Interswitch Uganda is doing for partner banks.

Interswitch is an integrated payment and transaction processing company that provides technology integration, advisory services, transaction processing and payment infrastructure to government, banks and corporate organizations. That’s quite a mouthful, but in short, they are a network for banks.

Interswitch Member Banks and ATM Footprint

Interswitch Uganda currently has 13 member banks namely;

  • Cairo International Bank
  • Commercial Bank of Africa
  • Centenary Bank
  • DFCU Bank
  • Finance Trust Bank
  • FINCA
  • GTBank
  • Imperial Bank
  • NC Bank
  • Orient Bank
  • Opportunity Bank,
  • PostBank
  • United Bank for Africa(UBA)

If your bank belongs to any of the above banks, then you have the privilege of withdrawing money from any of the 300 ATM machines countrywide. Simply look for the “Interswitch” logo on the ATM machine and withdraw your money.
