There are many reasons why you might want to reach out to your Uber driver, you could be standing on the wrong side of the road, maybe you imputed the wrong location, or your Uber driver is running late. Which ever reason it is, you could simply give them a call from your Uber app.
How to contact your Uber driver
You could send your driver a written message, just enter the message in the “Any pickup notes” bar and send.
To make a phone call to your driver, just click the phone icon at the bottom left corner of the display and confirm that you want to place a call.
To contact your Uber driver after a ride, you will need to follow these steps:
- Launch the Uber app and click the 3 parallel lines at the top-left corner
- Tap “your trip”, also, you need to be sure that the menu is set to “past”
- Scroll through to locate and select the particular trip and click it.
- Swipe down to choose the topic that best describes your problem. For example, “I lost an item”
Several options will be displayed to choose from, and in some cases, you will get to contact the driver directly. In other cases, Uber will make you submit a request information including your phone number and your driver will contact you.
NOTE: you will be charged $15 for the driver contacting you.
