Vivo Kenya Officially Unveils Camera-Centric Vivo V20

Vivo is slowly but surely becoming a household brand name in Kenya, joining the likes of Oppo and TECNO in the ‘hall of fame’.

In the recent past, we have seen the company doubling down on the mid-range segment of the market with the launch of the Vivo Y20 and the Y12s.

The company is unveiling yet another device in Kenya. This time, the Vivo V20, the successor to the Vivo V19 that was unveiled back in July 2020.

The Vivo V20 is set to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor by catering to the needs of the upper mid-range segment of the local market. Below is the device’s spec-sheet.

Perhaps the most highlighted feature of the V20 is its 44MP front-facing camera which the company calls the Eye Autofocus front camera. This uses advanced AI algorithms to track and focus on moving subjects.

At the back, the device houses a triple camera setup, a 64MP main shooter along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor.

Price and Availability in Kenya

The Vivo V20 will retail in Kenya at Ksh 45,999, approximately $430. The company further adds that the device will be available in two colors; Midnight Jazz and the Sunset Melody. You should be able to pick up the Vivo V20 in Kenya at branded phone stores country-wide and on e-commerce sites like Jumia.
