At just 4.9mm thick, the TECNO Modular Phone is the world’s slimmest modular smartphone. Its proprietary Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology combines a precision magnetic array with pogo-pin connectors, enabling an ecosystem of ten high-performance modules designed to adapt to different user needs.

The phone has also attracted international recognition, receiving more than 20 accolades from technology publications including CNET, Android Authority, Yanko Design and The Verge. CNET and Yanko Design named it among their Best of MWC 2026, while The Verge recognised it as Best Mobile Tech at MWC 2026.

The Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS, meanwhile, combines Italian-inspired design with gaming and AI-focused performance. The approximately 6.36-litre gaming PC features an Intel Core i9-13900HK processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics, water cooling and 15 ports, including OCuLink and USB4.

TECNO’s 0mm Bezelless Phone Steals the Spotlight

Beyond the award-winning products, one of the biggest attractions at TECNO’s IFA showcase was its Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone, featuring what TECNO describes as a true 0mm display border.

The concept eliminates the visible black edge traditionally found around smartphone displays, allowing the screen to extend seamlessly to the edges of the device. The result is a more immersive viewing experience for gaming, videos, photography and everyday content.

Technology creator Marques Brownlee, better known as MKBHD, got an early hands-on look at the concept and described the experience as “kind of surreal.”

TECNO says the technology behind the 0mm display goes beyond aesthetics, with the engineering work potentially contributing to future developments in areas such as cameras, touch sensitivity, sound and smart user interfaces.

New Devices Expand TECNO’s Lineup

Alongside the award-winning innovations and bezelless concept, TECNO showcased a range of new products across smartphones and personal computing. The MEGABOOK T15 360 Series introduces TECNO’s first 360° convertible laptops, allowing users to switch between Laptop, Tablet, Tent and Stand modes, while the MEGABOOK K15S WCL targets students and young professionals and the larger MEGABOOK T17 Ultra is designed for more demanding productivity, creative work, entertainment and moderate gaming. On the smartphone side, the CAMON Slim 5G combines a 6.39mm slim profile with photography and AI-focused features, while the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition combines performance-focused hardware with distinctive Tonino Lamborghini styling and advanced cooling technology.

Building a More Connected Technology Ecosystem

The products showcased at IFA also reflect TECNO’s broader move toward a connected technology ecosystem. Through TECNO OneLeap, smartphones, tablets and PCs can work together to support cross-device collaboration, while the Modular Phone introduces adaptability at the hardware level and the TAURUS expands the company’s presence into gaming and AI-powered computing.

From the 0mm bezelless display and 4.9mm modular smartphone to flexible 360° laptops and a compact gaming PC, TECNO’s IFA 2026 showcase demonstrates its growing focus on new device formats and experiences.

Guided by its “Stop At Nothing” philosophy, TECNO continues to explore new technologies and AI-powered experiences as it expands beyond smartphones and builds its vision for the future of connected technology.
