After keeping us waiting for months, Tecno mobile has finally released its first device in 2021, in Nigeria – the next iteration of the Spark smartphone series, the Tecno Spark 7p.
Tecno’s Spark series is targeted towards youthful and energetic budget-conscious users, and the new Spark 7p isn’t any different. It is a budget friendly smartphone with major updates to the battery, display, as well as operating system.

I guess we are still feeling the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as there wasn’t any event or fanfare to unveil this device, rather Tecno Mobile Nigeria unveiled the device via its twitter handle.
The Spark 7p is powered by the mediatek Helio G70 chip (ideal for mobile gaming), and supported by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage depending on the model you go for. The 128GB variant is more expensive, though.
Other new updates on the Spark 7p includes the Android 11-based HiOS 7.5, its massive 5000mAh non-removable battery. The highlight feature of this device, however, is the 90Hz display refresh rate.

Price And Where to Buy in Nigeria
The Tecno Spark 7p is on sale in-store (online and physical) across Nigeria. You can purchase yours from Pointek for NGN60,900 (64GB Variant) and NGN68,800 (128GB Variant). It is also available on Jumia for NGN60,900 (64GB Variant).
