MTN Uganda has revamped its Non-Expirable Freedom Bundles, which were last updated last year. The prices for all packages have been maintained, while the internet bundles have been slightly increased. The new bundles offer more value and flexibility for customers, providing them with a wider range of options to choose from.
The changes are part of MTN Uganda’s ongoing commitment to providing its customers with the best possible experience, especially during the festive season. Let’s have a look at what changed.
Freedom Bundles New Rates
The perks of the freedom bundles since their inception have been flexibility and convenience. This means you can use it whenever you want and don’t have to worry about losing any data that you haven’t used.
An extra 500MB of data was added to the cheapest package from 1 GB to 1.5 GB. The median packages saw an update of 1GB and 2GB respectively. The most expensive packages saw the addition of an extra 5GB worth of data from 15GB to 20GB and 40GB to 45GB respectively.

How to Buy MTN’s Non-Expirable Data Bundles
Head over to your phone dial pad and dial *150*6# to buy MTN freedom bundles. Alternatively, you can follow these steps to buy through the myMTN mobile app.
Step 1: Download the MyMTN App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Step 2: Click on Buy Menu and Choose Data to see the newly revamped Freedom bundles.
Step 3: Click on the available Freedom Data Bundles and select the package you want.
Step 4: Select whether you want to buy for yourself or someone else and the payment option of Mobile Money to finish the transaction. The Mobile Money option entails you entering your mobile money PIN later to finalize the purchase.
