According to Techmoran, Kenyan-based Tech news website, Uber has partnered with Eatout, a local restaurant discovery App to offer complimentary taxi rides during the latter’s Nairobi Restaurant Week campaign.

The company has reportedly signed up 30 cars for its pilot phase and is signing up more before its official launch next month. Nairobi will be the third city in Africa after Lagos and Cairos to welcome the San Francisco headquartered company. However, Uber will have to compete against Rocket Internet-backed Easy Taxi that’s already been operational in Nairobi.
