When AzamTV launched in Uganda last year, they only had 40 channels on one bouquet. Now a year later, they have over 80 channels packaged in 4 different packages.
Azam TV Uganda is offering 4 different bouquets starting at a price of Ugx 10,000 – Azam Pure, Azam Plus, Azam Play and Indian Bou.
Azam Pure is the cheapest package going for a price of Ugx 10,000. Plus bouquet costs Ugx, 25,000, Play at Ugx, 30,000 while Indian bou is priced at Ugx 25,000. The TV provider is currently running a promotion where you pay 3 months and get 2 months free when you subscribe to one of its packages.
Azam is not specific about the number of channels each package has. The companies pricing structure relative to the competition shows its targeting bottom-of-the-pyramind customers.
The Pay TV provider uses satellite to transmit its signals. So you’ll have to buy AzamTV satellite kit which comes with a decoder, smart card and a dish at Ugx 145,000.
