Tecno released an entry level smartphone called the Y2 late last year. We do not have full information about the device but have been able to gather pieces of information here and there. One thing we know for sure is that it is an entry level device with 512MB of RAM and a 2800 mAh battery.
Why this is exciting is because we are seeing more cheap/affordable smartphones being released. Such phones are going to help increase both internet usage and penetration. We have not had a chance to have a feel of the device and the image

Will it be upgraded to marshmallow? Is it compatible (support for flashing) with Cyanogenmod or miui?
The HTC hd2 was still highly sought after long after it was produced. Not just because it was a pioneering slab design running Android but because its hardware was so generic it could be flashed to three different versions of Android, Windows phone 7 and most existing Android roms. It was truly a hacker’s delight at an unbeatable price (300K brand spanking new).
This techno is just a gateway drug. Weed.
I doubt it will be upgraded as we’ve seen no Tecno phones ever getting upgraded. We currently can’t confirm whether it supports flashing but as entry level device, that would be expecting a little too much.
There are many mid range and high end Tecno phones that support what you want.
