Instagram Stories is now updated with a fun-filled feature that will enable you to reply to stories with either photos or videos, hopefully I get tins of likes on instagram because of this. It is as simple as a mere tap on the new camera button while you’re watching a story.
Using any of the creative tools available in the camera, including face filters, stickers and Rewind, you can send a direct reply which also includes a sticker of the story that you can move around and even resize – based on your desire.
How to reply with photos or videos
When you see someone’s story, and you would wish to reply with a photo or video, the procedure is simple. Open the story you’d like to reply to, tap to send a disappearing photo or video, then tap Send. After someone opens a disappearing photo or video, it’s no longer visible in their inbox.
When a friend replies to your story with a photo or a video, you’ll see it in your inbox. You can tap to view it and also see a sticker of the original story that’s only visible to you. As with disappearing photos and videos in Direct, your friends will know when you’ve taken a screenshot or replayed a reply.
The updates is available as part of Instagram version 10.28 and above for iOS in the Apple App Store and for Android in Google Play.
