The Reno 3 Pro is Oppo’s latest addition to the Reno series. This device was ready for launch back in March, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed until May.
Also, just like TECNO had an online unveiling event for the Camon 15 (latest addition to the Camon series) a few weeks back, Oppo also opted for an online unveiling.

This smartphone features a 6.4-inch super AMOLED display. It also comes with a ‘Corning Gorilla Glass 5’ protection, offering you better protection against cracks and screen damages.
The screen size makes it a good option if you’re a gamer. It is also a good option for binge-watching movies.
Another highlight feature of the device’s display is its in-display fingerprint sensor.
Camera
Oppo never disappoints with its camera quality. This smartphone comes with a quad rear camera system that features a 64MP primary camera (f/1.7 aperture), a 13MP telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture), an 8MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture) and a 2MP monochrome depth camera (f/2.4 aperture).
The front camera is jaw-dropping; a 44MP (f/2.4 aperture) lens supported by a 2MP depth sensor camera.
Storage
Oppo Reno 3 Pro’s major improvement from its predecessor (Reno 2) is in the hardware and software department. It comes with a massive 8GB of RAM and is supported by a 128GB internal storage space — expandable to 256GB with the use of an SD card.
OS and Processor
The Oppo Reno 3 Pro features an octa-core Mediatek Helio P95 processor and the PowerVR GM9446 graphics processing unit. And of course, it runs on the latest version of the Android operating system (Android 10).

Battery
For a smartphone with a massive 8GB RAM and an internal storage space of up to 256GB, and supports 4G LTE, a big battery is expected — say 5000mAh. The device, however, features a 4025mAh battery. If you are a mid or heavy smartphone user, the battery might not get you through a day’s usage.

The Oppo Reno3 Pro currently sells for $540 or N210,000 Nigerian Naira. Considering the stunning features the device comes with, it is worth the recommended retail price (RRP).
