Whatsapp just experienced a minor outage again

Several users on Twitter confirmed another Whatsapp outage and several others on downdetector.com and isitdownrightnow.com websites. Dignited editors  also confirmed that their messages sent on smartphones were not going through as of today Sunday, May 25th 6:35 GMT. The service came back online after about 25 minutes at 6:50 GMT.

This marks the second time the service experiences an outage after being bought by Facebook for $19B earlier this year.

We’ve no official communication from the company yet about the minor outage. Next time there’s such a scenario, remember there’s Viber, Google Hangouts, Facebook messenger, iMessages, BBM and several other suitable alternatives.
