The first thing you should take note of is the size of the new Galaxy Tab. It maintains the same size (11 inches) as its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S8. There is a slight improvement in the display of the new Galaxy Tab, however. While the Tab S8 comes with an AMOLED display, the new Tab S9 comes with a ‘dynamic’ AMOLED 2x display. According to experts, this new display on the Tab S9 is a significant upgrade from its predecessor.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which provides lightning-fast performance and seamless multitasking capabilities. This is an upgrade from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset on the Tab S8.
Another major update that is worth considering is that the Tab S9 comes with an IP68-rating for water and dust resistance. This is significant because this is the first Galaxy tablet that comes with a water and dust resistance rating. This is important because it improves the durability of the Tablet.
The battery capacity on the new series has also been upgraded slightly. This new tablet series is powered by an 8400mAh battery.
Should you upgrade? Absolutely! The new Galaxy Tab offers a lot more. Its processor provides lightning-fast performance and seamless multitasking capabilities, and the new water and dust-resistant rating ensures durability. What more can we ask for?
