Although our focus in this article is the iPhone 15, it is important to note that there are four new iPhones in the iPhone 15 series, the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Plus, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The most noticeable addition to the new iPhone 15 is the Dynamic Island on the display of all the devices. This design is called the Dynamic Island, and it was first introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro models last year. It houses the front-facing camera, Face ID sensors, and all popup notifications.
Another new upgrade to the iPhone 15 series is the addition of a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port. This change is a welcomed one, as USB-C is the more common port standard in many countries.
Under the hood of the iPhone 15 is Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chip, and we expect that it will be considerably faster than the A15 Bionic chip on its predecessor, the iPhone 14. Furthermore, you get a 48MP dual camera setup on the iPhone 15. This is a significant upgrade from the iPhone 14’s 12MP camera.
Price and Availability of the iPhone 15 in Nigeria
The iPhone 15 hasn’t been launched in Nigeria yet, however, unconfirmed reports suggest that the iPhone 15 will start selling for N840,000 naira for the 128GB model. We will update this article with new information once we know more.
