Xiaomi has, over the years, solidified its position as one of the best value-for-money OEMs in the world with devices that punch way above their price point in terms of performance and featureset.
A clear illustration of this is the Redmi Note Series of devices. The Redmi Note series has been around since 2014 and has seen many iterations since then and we’re due for the 13th installment.

We’ve already seen a China release of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 devices with word that the international rollout might come this October, but what do we know about these much-awaited devices?
According to a recent article on Gizbot, the Note 13 series is expected to include five smartphones, including the entry-level
- Redmi Note 13 4G
- Redmi Note 13 5G
- Redmi Note 13 Pro
- Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus
- Redmi Note 13 Turbo edition
Whether all these get released for the international market remains to be seen. For now though, let’s see what we know about these devices from the China launch.
Redmi Note 13
As mentioned, the Note 13 from Xiaomi is expected to be released in October 2023. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It will run on Android 13 with MIUI 14 and will be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 100 MP primary lens and a 2 MP depth sensor.
On the front, it has a single 16 MP camera. The phone comes with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging at up to 33W. It will also have IP54 dust and splash resistance.
Redmi Note 13 Pro
Like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 13, the Note 13 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of FHD+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 and is powered by a Qualcomm SM7435-AB Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 200 MP primary lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front, it will have a single 16 MP camera.
The phone comes with a non-removable Li-Po 5100 mAh battery that supports fast charging at up to 67W. It also has IP54 dust and splash resistance.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus also comes with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset.
The phone has a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 200 MP primary lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front, it has a single 16 MP camera like the lower-tier models.
The phone comes with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging at up to 120W. Reports also have it that it will have IP68 dust and water resistance.

Conclusion
Like history has proven, sometimes there are differences between devices launched in China from those presented to the international market so these specs might be slightly changed when we finally see the Redmo Note 13 devices in the global market.
