Samsung Galaxy S6 now available in Uganda on Jumia, here’s the price and how to order

Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is finally in Uganda. The phone is being sold on pre-order by MTN Uganda on  the online retailer, Jumia Uganda for a price of Ugx 2,000,000.

At that price, the smartphone comes with only 50MB of data on MTN Uganda network for 2 month which we think is too little data for such a gigantic phone.

The S6 comes with Google’s OS Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box, a resolution of 2560 x 1440, 577 ppi, 8-core Exynos 7420 processor that clocks in at 3 Ghz, 3GB RAM, 16/5MP rear/front cameras and 2,550 mAh battery.

Now if you want to decide on whether to hold on your galaxy S5 or upgrade to the S6, we already did a comparison of the two devices for you but the Galaxy S5 goes for a price of UGX 1,850,000 which is 150k less than the price of the Galaxy S6.

The S6 is not yet officially launched in Uganda, but Samsung Mobile Uganda expects the device to be in the country by mid April.
