Everjobs Rocket Internet’s Job website has finally launched in Uganda

Here it is! Rocket Internet’s online job website Everjobs(Now JumiaJobs) has finally launched in Uganda with a country-level domain https://jobs.jumia.ug/

The startup is launching with some employers across various sectors like Telecom, Banking, Hospitality, Insurance and Manufacturing already on board. Job seekers will now easily land their jobs at Smile communication, MTN Uganda, APA Insurance, Simba Telecom, Protea Hotels, Airtel, Huawei, Interswitch, Roofings among the 20 employers the startup has began with.

Everjobs will have to complete with The New Vision’s jobs.co.ug and One Africa media’s Brightermonday among the 5 other online job websites in Uganda.

Rocket internet, like it has done with its other companies, plans to scale its platform to other African countries such as Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Angola and Mozambique among others.
