“Buy from abroad, ship to Africa” e-commerce stores are becoming the norm in the e-commerce space lately. Already we’ve written about players like GoodsExpress, Intership, US2UG, UG Unlocked among others that enable you shop from online retails stores like eBay, Amazon, Target etc and ship to Uganda. The latest entrant to our list is Intraline Online.

Intraline Online is an African service platform which enables shoppers to order for anything they want or need from anywhere around the world. They started up in July 2015 and are currently operating in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.

The shopping process is very simple and user- friendly. You simply visit their online store at http://intralineonline.com/, and browse through the items available, find what you need and place your order. In case you don’t find what you need on their site, you can simply request for it by sending them an email at [email protected] or send them a message on their Facebook Page. Intraline says they will source the best quality of that item on the market.

Before the item is delivered to you, Intraline requires you to  pay 50% of the cost quoted and then complete the 50% payment upon delivery of the item(s) ordered. Their payment options  currently include; Paypal, Mpesa, MTN MobileMoney and Cash payments. Intraline says you have to wait between 2 – 3 weeks before your product arrives where you will pick them up from their offices at Plot 112, Muteesa II Road, Ntinda or  # 1 Grevillea Grove, Nairobi. Alternatively, items can be delivered for free to areas around Kampala, Nairobi and Kigali.

The e-commerce store has a 24/7 client support line where they keep updating clients on their order status from the time the order has been made until it has been delivered. Intraline currently lets you shop products from the USA, UK, Canada, Japan and China.
