Starting this Friday, February 10th you won’t “need to leave the office for lunch” according to an email Uber has just sent out to its customers. In partnership with Roast by Carnivore, Uber is bringing food delivery service dubbed UberChoma which will offer free Nyama Choma to people in Westlands and Nairobi town. The service will also be available to residents of Mombasa.

How it works

  • Open the Uber app between 12PM (noon) – 2PM on Friday, February 10 in Westlands or Town.
  • Tap the UberCHOMA banner at the bottom of the screen.
  • Request an UberCHOMA.
  • If your request is successful, a driver will arrive at your location with free Nyama Choma courtesy of Roast by Carnivor.

Uber says that requests can only be made between 12PM (noon) – 2PM on Friday, February 10 within Westlands and the Central Business District areas of Nairobi and Mombasa. Plus there will only be one order delivered per request.
