MultiChoice Uganda boasts of a large clientele allover the country, given their variety in programming and a wide selection for bouquets to subscribe to. It is from their commitment to you, and their bid to improve on the DStv service, that they will be upgrading the customer service platforms from 8 – 10 October, 2017.
During the upgrade, certain services such as the processing of payments and changing of packages will be affected. It is therefore advisable that you settle your account, using your DStv smart card, before 7 October to avoid any interruption to your viewing.
During that period, only certain payment points will be available to process package payments for customers as listed below.
- MTN Mobile
- Ezee Money
- Bankom Interswitch
- Bank of Africa
- Centenary Bank Uganda (CBU)
- Standard Chartered Bank
During the same time, the DStv agencies and branches will be operational, but will only be able to provide a few services. These include creating new customers, making reconnections, and clearing error codes.
Information on your account
Currently, MultiChoice is unable to provide you with a balance, statement or account information. They are also not in position to perform upgrades or downgrades, new Xtraview activations, adding additional packages or suspension of existing packages.
It is thus recommended that you submit any requests on your account before 7 October 2017, so that you are attended to on time. This is because even the Self service option will not be available during the upgrade time. Otherwise, you might have to try again from 11 October onwards.
BoxOffice will still be available, but with the only the available funds
Box Office rentals will still be available using available funds in your BoxOffice account. Please top up your BoxOffice account by 7 October as you will not be able to top up your Box Office account during the upgrade from 8 to 10 October.
New BoxOffice registrations will not be available during the same period.
