From Monday 19th to Sunday 25th March 2018, Jumia Uganda – arguably the country’s leading online shop, is bringing yet again it’s annual Jumia Mobile Week for a third time. Jumia has always emphasized that the Mobile Week is a major opportunity for Ugandans to upgrade their phones for less. You get the opportunity to access all brand new devices that come with a warranty, and guaranteed as authentic products.
Visitors to the Jumia site and to the Jumia mobile app will have an opportunity to claim the largest discounts on mobile phones, tablets and accessories ever seen in Uganda. Brands such as Tecno, Infinix, Samsung, iPhone, Fero and Nokia are among those set to have discounts of up to 60% off.
Jumia Uganda Country Manager, Ham Namakajjo confirmed at a press event on Friday that they have partnered with trusted mobile phone distributors to offer the very best prices on Uganda’s favourite mobile phones. Jumia guarantees the best prices on the Mobile Week offers and will discount selected models even further during daily flash sales.
Additionally, customers should expect new and exclusive models from some of Uganda’s favourite smartphone brands, also at slashed prices. Every day of the Mobile Week will see two new products added to the shoping list. In the weeks leading up to Mobile Week, visitors to the Jumia Uganda website and social media pages, as well as followers of the #JumiaMobileWeek hashtag, can participate in exciting contests to win mobile phones and discount vouchers to redeem during the sale.
Delivery shall be effecient
In line with the Jumia promise, all customers can be assured of nationwide delivery within 3-6 working days and the comforting option to return items for free within 7 days, as per Jumia’s returns policy. Customers in Kampala have enjoyed the option to pay cash on delivery since Jumia launched in 2014 – and Jumia Mobile Week will see them also benefiting from 24 hour delivery for orders placed before 2pm, on items with the “Mobile Week Deal” tag.
“From our experience with Jumia Black Friday, last year, we learned what appeals to the online shopper and aim to deliver just that with the Mobile Week discounts and shortened delivery time.” Namakajjo concluded.
Jumia Mobile Week will be happening concurrently across the continent in Jumia’s 12 countries of operation. To prepare for the sale, customers are recommended to download the Jumia mobile app since it consumes less data than the website – and to sign up to the Jumia newsletter for the latest updates on the sale. Over 20,000 products including mobile phones, computers, TVs, home appliances and fashion are currently listed on the Jumia website.
