This Easter, Ugandan Telecoms and ISP’s are battling each other in who has the best the promo. We saw many of them come up with innovative ways to reward and also attract more clientele in using their services. We looked at each of them to see what they had in store for their customers and this what they came up with. Among many other ongoing promos, MTN Uganda came up with “Easter Jaguza” where an MTN Customer can get 10 Voice minutes, 10SMS and 10MB of data for 1000/- only per day. If you like MTN’s offer, you can dial *164# to activate the offer.

Orange Uganda which also has numerous ongoing promos came up with “Happy Hours” and “Happy Nights” for Easter. Under this promo, One can get 1GB of data for only 5,000/- instead of the normal 35,000/- per GB valid for one hour or 1GB of data for 2500/- vaild from midnight to 6:00am. To complement this, Orange is giving a gift to every one who purchases any device. Gifts range from Dinner at Protea, Shopping Vouchers, Movie Tickets, Phones, Airtime among others.

Airtel for Easter has subsidised tickets to a the Bollywood movie “2 STATES” at Cineplex Starring Alia Bhart, Arjun Kapoor and Amrita Singh. Each ticket will be going for 12,000/-  till Monday 21st April. To complement this, Airtel is pushing its obscene “WTFpack” where one enjoys Whatsapp, Twitter and Facebook with 100 MB of unlimited fun for 24hrs For only UGX 500/-. You can dial *175# to get this offer.

UTL has something going for its customers with what it calls “Kizze”. With this promo,  a customer simply loads Airtime, spends it and gets it all back the next month. The best part is this; You can use the airtime to call and text all other networks. To get this offer, dial *100# to get this offer.

Smile is offering what they are calling the “Smile at Home” night and weekend bundles where you can get 5GB at 60,000/-  Extended uninterrupted validity from Thursday 17th of  April at 7pm through to Tuesday 22nd  April at 7am.
