Kwesé TV moves on the Beyond TV slogan, and they are proving it ten-over-ten. Going over the line of being just a broadcasting service, the Pay TV offers a range of options to choose from on how to watch your entertainment. It can be on your TV screen using the Kwesé decoder, online via the website, as well as on the go via the app – Android or iOS.
There is the Kwesé TV app and the Kwesé-iflix app. These two are different and offer different service to a viewer. Whereas the Kwesé TV app allows you to watch scheduled programs, Kwesé iflix gives you whatever is on offer at whichever time that suits you, since it is a Video on Demand service that has a library of movies and shows.
Kwesé TV app
If you have the Kwesé TV satellite/decoder, you can download and use the Kwesé TV app to use on other devices via the internet. This app allows you to expand the number of screens you can enjoy your Kwesé TV to up to 5 screens. It also helps you to access your TV while on the move, more like moving around with your decoder, dish and TV in your pocket.
The app is available for both Android and iPhone users and can be downloaded from the Google Play store and the Apple App store respectively.
Kwesé iflix app
Having acquired the biggest stake in iflix Africa, Kwese brought on board a new face to African SVOD content delivery. Kwesé-iflix is a mobile platform that offers cutting-edge, youth focused programming showcasing video-on-demand and download-to-watch-later entertainment content.
The app is available for both Android and iPhone users and can be downloaded from the Google Play store and the Apple App store respectively. Users of the app enjoy a flexible digital entertainment platform as the app makes it easier for them to access top entertainment programs via their mobile phones, anytime and virtually everywhere.
Signing up & Subscription
The Kwesé-iflix app subscription plans are designed for every customer, depending on what they can afford and how many days they would like to watch from the app. From a daily pass to a 3-day pass to 7-day pass and a monthly subscription.
The Kwese TV app, on the other hand, follows your decoder subscription plan. It requires you download it, and register for an account in case you don’t have one or sign in with an existing one, to access your TV on mobile.
Watching requirements
You have your smartphone ready, the other need is an internet plan. It is recommended that you have a minimum internet speed of 2 megabits per second (Mbps) or higher. This is because the bandwidth size determines the visual quality you get.
Good enough, the Kwesé apps automatically adjust the quality of the stream to match your available bandwidth. You can also increase or decrease the quality of the bandwidth by changing the settings on the app.
